Thank You to the Sons of the American Legion | A huge shout out to the Sons of the American Legion for their generous donation of winter coats to our elementary school. We are so appreciative of their wonderful donation and how it positively impacts our students. Thank You!!! The Morrill Lions Cross Country Team joined us for morning meeting. They did an amazing job sharing why cross country is such a cool sport to participate in.

Morrill Elementary School was excited to host a special surprise for one of our fantastic paraprofessionals.
Mr. Jack Moles from the Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association (NRCSA) presented a $1000 scholarship to Kayla Christensen on Wednesday morning. The scholarship is provided by NRCSA as a way to help alleviate the teacher shortage in rural schools and is specifically given to paraprofessionals who are working to complete a degree in education.
Miss Kayla is an awesome part of our staff and we were happy to celebrate this special moment with her!
Thank you to all of our Lions for GOING GOLD & raising awareness for Childhood Cancer. We were able to donate $267 to Team Ashtyn to help other children in the Panhandle who are battling cancer. We appreciate your generosity!

Junior Elementary Football Practice Notification | 3/4 Practice -- Our 3/4 boys' football team will still practice tonight, Tuesday, September 17th. Please bring both tennis shoes and cleats in case the practice needs to be moved indoors. | 5/6 Practice Change -- Due to the forecasted weather today, the 5/6 boys' football practice has been canceled.
