6th Grade Country Fair Night Exhibits - November 10, 2025
We would love for family and friends to join us on Monday, November 10th as our 6th grade students take you on a trip around the world! The event will take place in the Morrill Elementary gym from 6:30-7:30 pm as students share their exhibits about different countries and cultures. Thank you!

Preschool Community Service Project (November 3rd - 21st, 2025)
Our Lion Cub Preschool is holding their Annual Community Service Project. This year they are inviting PK-6th grade students to participate in a canned food drive. Between November 3rd - 21st, bring a can of food to either Preschool Classroom and help support our littlest Lions in this project!!

This year we had a whole pride of Lions running every morning to complete their marathon! For some of them it was their 4th time participating!
We had 1256.25 total miles completed by all of our runners across the grades. A total of 26 Lions completed a full marathon!
A special shout out to our sponsors: First State Bank - Torrington, Lackey Trucking, The Roasted Mug, and Westco! We appreciate all you do for our school! Students earned a charm for their running necklaces for every 5 miles they completed. Marathon runners received a t-shirt too!
Thank you to Miss Jessi and Mrs. Lackey for helping to organize this event each year. We love seeing how many students take on the challenge.

White Cane Awareness Day
On October 15th, we were able to celebrate White Cane Awareness Day. The white cane represents independence and mobility for those who are blind or have low vision. We are honored to get to celebrate the skills and self-reliance of those who navigate our world with a white cane or guide dog!!

Run Lions Run Final Celebration Day - Oct. 31, 2025
We are inviting family and friends to come join us as we celebrate the completion of our 2025 season of Run Lions Run. On Friday, October 31st at 8:00 am, we will present our KDG-6th grade Full-Marathon Finishers with t-shirts at our Morning Meeting. We're extremely proud of all of our runners who participated! Halloween Parade - October 31st
Our annual trick-or-treating parade will be on Friday, October 31st at 12:30 pm. The details are as follows:
*The trick-or-treating parade will start at Morrill Elementary at 12:30 pm.
*Students will parade through the school so we can see all the costumes.
*After that, students will walk downtown to trick-or-treat with local businesses.
*Preschool Families are welcome to join us. (PK Dismissal will remain at 11:15 am on Oct. 31st)
