25-26 Preschool Start of Year Reminders

Just a few reminders for preschool parents as we will soon be starting a new school year.

1) Wednesday, August 20th is the first day of school for our preschool students

2) The preschool schedule is as follows:
Morning Only PK: 7:45 - 11:15 am (3 yr olds)
Full Day PK: 7:45 am - 3:15 pm (3 yr olds)
Full Day Pre-KDG: 7:45 am - 3:15 pm (4 to 5 yr olds)
**ALL Friday Classes run from 7:45 - 11:15 am**

3) No bus transportation is provided for preschool students

Please take a moment to read through the details of the attached flyer. We can't wait to meet our new little Lions on the 20th!!

Morrill Public Schools is participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the school year 25/26.
Breakfast and Lunch are provided to your student(s) at no charge. There will be fees charged for a la carte items such as a second entree, 2nd milk or an additional side(s). Your child(ren) must have money on their accounts prior to receiving seconds.

Elementary Jr. Football Parent Meeting/Uniform Checkout - Aug. 14, 2025

Coach Lofink will be holding a parent meeting for Elementary Jr. Football on Thursday, August 14th @ 5:30 pm in the elementary gym. This will be for 3rd-6th grade students. Please plan on attending if you would like your child to participate. Also, check out the attached flyer for practice and game times. Thanks!

Back to School Night - August 12th | We're excited to welcome families to our Back to School Night on August 12th.

Elementary 6:00 - 7:00 pm
High School 6:30 - 7:30 pm

Preschool Parent Orientation August 11, 2025 | We will have Preschool Parent Orientation on Monday, August 11th. Attendance is required for parents who have a preschool student attending for the 2025-2026 school year. There will be a 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm session in the Morrill Elementary Library and you can choose the session time that works best for you.

Also a reminder that if you have not registered your child, you can use the QR code or link on the attached flyer to complete the Morrill Lion Cub Registration. We look forward to meeting with everyone!

2025-2026 School Supply List | It is that time of year again and the start of the new school year will soon be upon us. Please find attached the 2025-2026 school supply list for Kindergarten through 6th grade. If your child is in need of a backpack, please contact the elementary office at (308) 247-2176 as we have some extras available. We can't wait to see all of you in August. Enjoy the rest of your summer!!

2025-2026 Lion Cub Preschool Registration | Thank you for your patience as we restructure our early childhood programs for the 2025-2026 school year. We are now accepting applications for our Lion Cub Preschool. Please check out the attached flyer for details regarding the classes we will have available. Thanks to Zwetzig Skate and Bounce for helping to make our 4th Quarter Next Level Day so much fun! A huge shout out to all of the students who had great behavior and academics all quarter! We are so proud of you. Thank you to the bus drivers, paras, staff, and teachers who helped to make this day happen. We appreciate you!

May 21st - Last Day of School | Just a reminder that our elementary students will be dismissed at 11:50 am on May 21st. We hope you all have a fantastic summer!!!

We are excited to announce that Morrill Public School will be offering free meals this summer to all children ages 1 to 18! This is a great opportunity for kids to enjoy nutritious meals throughout the summer months. Details: 📅 Dates: May 27 – July 3 (Monday through Friday) 📍 Locations: 1. Sit-Down Meals at the Elementary Cafeteria • Breakfast: 7:30 A.M. – 8:30 A.M. • Lunch: 11:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. Meals must be eaten on-site at the cafeteria. 2. Grab & Go Lunches at the following locations: • Henry Village Park: 11:00 A.M. – 11:45 A.M. • Lyman South Park: 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. Important: If you plan to participate in the Grab & Go meals at Henry Village Park or Lyman South Park, we kindly request that you notify us by Thursday, May 22nd to help us plan accordingly. No registration is required for the sit-down meals at the elementary cafeteria. For Grab & Go meals, simply let us know by the requested date! We look forward to serving your children this summer! 4th Quarter Next Level Day - Roller Skating Party May 19th | Our 4th Quarter Next Level event will take place on May 19th. Due to the forecasted weather, our Next Level Day Event has been changed from water activities to a Skating Party!! Students are allowed to bring no more than $20 if they would like to purchase food from the concessions area or play arcade games. Students must meet the quarterly criteria to attend the Next Level event. Students' eligibility to attend is based on no behavior or bus write-ups, no missing assignments, grades of 70% or above, and good attendance in the 4th quarter. Congratulations to those students who worked hard to reach the Next Level!!
