It's Scholastic Book Fair time! From May 5th-May 8th, come experience the limitless possibilities with your kids. It's our BOGO book fair, so it's the perfect time to prepare for summer reading!
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday the book fair will be open from 7:30-8:00 AM and 3:30-5:00 PM. Tuesday the book fair will be open from 7:30 AM-5:00 PM.
Staff Appreciation Week May 5-9, 2025 | We are so excited to get to celebrate the staff here at Morrill Elementary and all that they do for our students! Starting Monday, May 5th through Friday, May 9th, we have special days planned (please see the attached flyer and one will also be coming home with your student). Last Day of Homework Club - May 8th, 2025 | If you have a student who attends Homework Club at either the Morrill or Lyman locations, we wanted to let you know that the last day for Homework Club this year will be Thursday, May 8th. No School - May Dates & Calendar Change | There is no school on the following days: May 2nd (PAC Track Meet - No School for K-12) and May 6th (JH Track Meet - No School K-12).
Additionally, our last day of school is May 21st, and our elementary students will be dismissed at 11:50 am on that day instead of 1:50 pm. Thanks everyone!

The MES Leadership Team traveled to Chadron to tour the Chadron State College campus. They enjoyed the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center, watched an epic show in the planetarium, toured the athletic and science facilities, and ate to their heart's content at the campus cafeteria. It was a wonderful learning experience! Thank you CSC for hosting us.

Food Bank - April 19, 2025 | The Morrill Community Baptist Church has a food bank for community members in need. Stop by on the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Grades 3-6 will have their English & Language Arts NSCAS Test on April 9 & 10.
