4th Quarter Next Level Day - Roller Skating Party May 19th | Our 4th Quarter Next Level event will take place on May 19th. Due to the forecasted weather, our Next Level Day Event has been changed from water activities to a Skating Party!! Students are allowed to bring no more than $20 if they would like to purchase food from the concessions area or play arcade games.
Students must meet the quarterly criteria to attend the Next Level event. Students' eligibility to attend is based on no behavior or bus write-ups, no missing assignments, grades of 70% or above, and good attendance in the 4th quarter. Congratulations to those students who worked hard to reach the Next Level!!

Morrill Elementary Track & Field Day 2025 | The Morrill Elementary Track and Field Day will be on Tuesday, May 13th. This year we will have a new schedule of events that includes all K-6th graders both before and after lunch. Please see the attached flyer for details concerning the scheduled times for all of the events. Also, all events will take place at the high school track. Lunch will be provided by the school cafeteria and will be served and eaten at the track. We ask that all students wear tennis shoes, bring sunscreen, and bring a water bottle. Students may want to layer clothes as it could be cooler in the morning and warm up in the afternoon. Please be aware that there will be a limited concession stand available for Track and Field Day. The items available and prices are on the attached flyer. If you would like your student to be able to purchase something from the concession stand, please send them with money. Some important items to take note of are: 1) Parents & spectators are asked to sit in the bleachers during running events. 2) Any students leaving with parents must be signed out with Mrs. Lackey or at the nurse's station. 3) In case of bad weather, Thursday May 15th will be our back up date. School Safety Drill | This is just a notice to parents and guardians that Morrill Elementary students will participate in a school safety drill later this week. While the drill is in progress, people will not be allowed in or out of the building. Morrill Elementary completed a community service project for Earth Day! Each of our Dens got together to pick up trash around town. We are proud of our community and we want it to look its best!

Morrill Public Library - Open House May 12th | The Morrill Public Library has an Open House on Monday, May 12th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm to kick off their Summer Reading program registration. Families and kids are welcomed and encouraged to attend that evening. Thank you!
It's Scholastic Book Fair time! From May 5th-May 8th, come experience the limitless possibilities with your kids. It's our BOGO book fair, so it's the perfect time to prepare for summer reading!
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday the book fair will be open from 7:30-8:00 AM and 3:30-5:00 PM. Tuesday the book fair will be open from 7:30 AM-5:00 PM.
Staff Appreciation Week May 5-9, 2025 | We are so excited to get to celebrate the staff here at Morrill Elementary and all that they do for our students! Last Day of Homework Club - May 8th, 2025 | If you have a student who attends Homework Club at either the Morrill or Lyman locations, we wanted to let you know that the last day for Homework Club this year will be Thursday, May 8th. No School - May Dates & Calendar Change | There is no school on the following days: May 2nd (PAC Track Meet - No School for K-12) and May 6th (JH Track Meet - No School K-12).
Additionally, our last day of school is May 21st, and our elementary students will be dismissed at 11:50 am on that day instead of 1:50 pm. Thanks everyone!
