Morrill Elementary Picture Retake Day - Monday, November 11th | Copies of the attached note are coming home with students today. If your student was not present on the day of school pictures, which was October 14th, we will be sure to have their picture taken on November 11th. If you wish for your student to participate in the picture retake day, but they previously had pictures taken on October 14th, please complete the attached form and return it with your student. Any questions regarding picture retakes can be directed to Modern Images at (402) 991-7786. Thank you!
Food Bank - Nov. 8th from 5:00-7:00 pm | A food bank will be set up at the Good Shepherd of the Plains Episcopal Church in Harrisburg, NE, on November 8th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Perishable and non-perishable food items will be available free of charge. Thank you!

Morrill Elementary - School Calendar Change (December 16th) | Please take note that Morrill Elementary will NOT have school on Monday, December 16th due to us hosting the JH Girls PAC Basketball Tournament. Thank you!
Veterans Day Program November 11, 2024 | Please join us for our Veterans Day Program on Monday, November 11, 2024. The program will start at 10:00 am in the Morrill Elementary Gym. The elementary students will be in attendance and they will perform a song at the program. All area veterans are invited to attend and stay for lunch at the elementary cafeteria following the program. Lunch is free of cost for Veterans. Thank you!
REMINDER.....6th Grade - Country Fair Night Exhibits | Please join us tonight, November 4th as our 6th grade students take you on a trip around the world! This event is taking place in the Morrill Elementary gym from 6:30-7:30 pm and students will share their exhibits about different countries and cultures from around the world. Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who attended the Scholastic Book Fair during parent-teacher conferences. We appreciate you supporting good reading habits for our Lions. We hope everyone was able to find something fun to read & share! Thanks to your purchases we were able to buy a lot of new books for our library!

October was very busy at Morrill Elementary! Throughout all of the activities, work, & play these students were able to do their best at all times. Our October Lions of the Month stood out by making us proud during every part of their school day.

Pride Wrestling Club | The Pride Wrestling Club is open to local youth from PK-8th Grade. Starting on Thursday, November 7th, there will be practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 pm in the HS wrestling room. REMINDER -- Halloween Parade | Just a reminder that we will be starting the trick-or-treating parade at Morrill Elementary today at 2:00 pm. We will parade through the school first so we can see all the costumes. Students will then walk downtown to trick-or-treat with local businesses. Classroom parties are scheduled by individual teachers. Thank you!
