Read Across America Week (Feb. 27-March 3rd) - Next week we will have dress-up days in celebration of Read Across America Week! Please try to be at your pick up point a few minutes early. If you are not able to make it your stop due to road conditions please call the school to let us know.
Due to the forecast of snow, ice, wind, and low temperatures there will be no school on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Due to forecast weather Morrill Public Schools will be closed for all Students PK-12 on Wednesday 2/22/2023. Buses will not run. 7-12 Students will be remote learning, check in with your teachers for attendance.
School Safety (Lockdown Drill) - Morrill Elementary will participate in a lockdown drill later this week. We wanted to make parents/guardians aware as we will not be allowed to let people in or out of the building during the safety drill. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact the elementary school at 247-2176. Thank you!

Our Lion community is invited to a Chili Feed Fundraiser for Brayden Branham. The dinner will be on Saturday, February 25 from 5-8 pm at the Morrill American Legion.
This event is sponsored by many kind and generous people from our community. We are so grateful to have support for Brayden & his family.
At the dinner there will be chili & cinnamon rolls. This is a freewill donation for the meal.
There will also be a silent auction, a live auction, and a 50/50 raffle!
We hope to see you there!
We are also recruiting helpers for cleanup the evening of the dinner. Workers will stay about 30 minutes after the event is over to help clean and organize. Please reach out to the school if you or your student would like to be of service. Thank you!
Once again it was a treat to honor our Lions of the Month...this time for January. These students have shown us that can be respectful, responsible, and safe each and every day of school. Nominated by their teachers and voted for by the rest of the staff, this group of students shines brightly in our school, family, and community.
