Food Bank - April 19, 2025 | The Morrill Community Baptist Church has a food bank for community members in need. Stop by on the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Grades 3-6 will have their English & Language Arts NSCAS Test on April 9 & 10.
Come to school prepared to test like a legend from the Old West.

School Safety Drill - April 4th | This is just a notice to parents and guardians that tomorrow, April 4th, Morrill Elementary students will participate in a school safety drill. While the drill is in progress, people will not be allowed in or out of the building. 2025 Mitchell Organized Baseball | The attached registration form is being sent home with students today. This program is being offered through Mitchell Organized Baseball for children ages 4-18 years. Registration runs from March 15 - April 20, 2025. If you are interested, please follow the instructions on the form to register your child. Thank you!
UPDATE (Date Change) - Morrill Elementary Field Trip | Our school was scheduled to attend the Flight Squad Presentation at Bridgeport High School on March 20th; however, due to weather, the date of our school field trip has been changed. Families are still welcome to attend the evening presentation on Thursday, March 20th at 7:00 pm at the Bridgeport High School as that date has not changed. | Morrill Elementary WILL NOW attend the Flight Squad Presentation on Friday, March 21st @ 9:30 am and buses will be leaving the school shortly after 8:00 am to get staff and students there on time. Please make sure your students are arriving on time to school so they do not miss the bus. Thanks everyone!
Trisomy 18 Awareness Day - March 18 | On March 18, we will recognize Trisomy 18 Awareness Day. Please use this day to learn more about differences & disabilities and show support by wearing LIGHT BLUE that day!

3rd Quarter Next Level Day - Skating Party March 13th | Our 3rd Quarter Next Level event will take place on March 13th. Students who have met the quarterly criteria to attend a Next Level event will spend a few hours roller skating tomorrow! Students eligibility to attend is based on no behavior or bus write-ups, no missing assignments, grades of 70% or above, and good attendance in the 3rd quarter. Congratulations to those students who worked hard to reach the Next Level!!
Morrill Elementary Spring Concert - March 27th | Our elementary spring concert will be held on March 27th beginning at 6:30 pm. The doors will open at 6:15 so students can go to their classrooms prior to the start of the concert. Please contact Mrs. Stumpff at (308) 247-2176 if your student is unable to attend as this will be their only music performance assessment for the semester. Thank you!
