The Morrill Lions Cross Country Team joined us for morning meeting. They did an amazing job sharing why cross country is such a cool sport to participate in.

Morrill Elementary School was excited to host a special surprise for one of our fantastic paraprofessionals.
Mr. Jack Moles from the Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association (NRCSA) presented a $1000 scholarship to Kayla Christensen on Wednesday morning. The scholarship is provided by NRCSA as a way to help alleviate the teacher shortage in rural schools and is specifically given to paraprofessionals who are working to complete a degree in education.
Miss Kayla is an awesome part of our staff and we were happy to celebrate this special moment with her!
Thank you to all of our Lions for GOING GOLD & raising awareness for Childhood Cancer. We were able to donate $267 to Team Ashtyn to help other children in the Panhandle who are battling cancer. We appreciate your generosity!

Shout out to the Lady Lions Volleyball team for joining us at morning meeting. We loved hearing your advice on how to become a good student & athlete.

Junior Elementary Football Practice Notification | 3/4 Practice -- Our 3/4 boys' football team will still practice tonight, Tuesday, September 17th. Please bring both tennis shoes and cleats in case the practice needs to be moved indoors. | 5/6 Practice Change -- Due to the forecasted weather today, the 5/6 boys' football practice has been canceled. If you requested paper copies of the start of year paperwork and have not yet completed the paperwork, we ask that you return the paperwork with your student as soon as possible.
