Dental Screenings - Sept. 22nd / Our annual dental screenings will be taking place on Friday, Sept. 22nd. Please see the attached flyer for all details regarding the dental screenings. The consent forms to either receive or decline the fluoride and/or sealants will be coming home today with your student(s). Morrill Public Schools is pleased to announce the final payment on our Early Learning Center has been made as of today, 9/19/2023.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
On Friday, September 22, we are going to "Go Gold"! Wear gold or yellow to show support for children who are battling any kind of cancer.
We are also having Donations for Donuts! Bring a donation of 50¢ or more to get a treat. All donations will go to Team Ashytn, a local foundation that assists families affected by cancer.
We can't wait to see everyone Go Gold!

The elementary school will host a Legacy Lunch on Friday, September 8. We encourage each student to invite a special grown-up to eat with them. Please RSVP to the office by September 6.

The attached flyer will give you some information on what is being taught and our goal is to post a flyer each week so families know what topic is being presented for that week. Run Lions Run 2023 will start tomorrow, August 22!
Can you run a marathon over the next few weeks?
Each morning, between 7:30-7:45, check in at the flagpole on the east side of the elementary school. Then run your lap for the day! After you're done running, you can go eat breakfast if needed or go straight to your classroom.
We are excited to see how far our Lions can run this year!
This is a reminder to please send a pair of tennis shoes with your student to be used for P.E. class. The shoes do not have to be new, we just ask that they are clean so we can keep our gym floors looking nice. Thank you!

BACK TO SCHOOL INFORMATION!
~Students may begin to enter the building at 7:40.
~Car drop off is on the west side, Center Avenue.
~Buses drop off & pick up on the east side of the building.
~The street on the east side, Madison Avenue, is closed to thru traffic during the school day.
~Breakfast is served in the cafeteria. Students who wish to eat breakfast may enter the cafeteria first, through the west parking-lot cafeteria doors or the east cafeteria doors. After breakfast, students will walk through the gym to their classrooms.
~The tardy bell rings at 8:00.
~School will dismiss at 3:20 Monday-Thursday. On Friday school dismisses at 1:50.

We will have Open House on August 14th from 5:00-6:00 pm and families will have a chance to meet with the School Nurse. Please see the attached flyer for details on why you might need to meet with the School Nurse and plan on stopping by her office that night. Thank you!
