Dental Screenings / Consent Forms -- The attached forms came home yesterday and some will come home today for students who are in K-4th grade. Kendra Lauruhn is a public health registered dental hygienist who will be here at the elementary on September 15th to complete dental screenings for all students in those grades.
The dental screening is a state requirement and will be performed on all students K-4th; however, to receive fluoride and dental sealants, the parent consent form will need to be completed and returned by September 15th. 2022 School Mall Fundraiser
Our School Mall Fundraiser is underway and most packets went home with kids on Monday, September 12th. Each student who participates can do so by following the 3 easy steps below:
1) Go to www.schoolstore.net and sign up using our school ID: 165294.
2) Send form emails inviting family, friends, and co-workers to support your student.
3) Return the attached envelope with the student prize code for your child to receive a fun participate prize.
Please remember that all packets are due back by Monday, September 19th. Thanks everyone!

September 2022 Breakfast/Lunch Menu
Each morning our Lions get a chance to start off the day with a run. They are aiming to have run a full marathon (26.2 miles) by October. We've already had some kiddos hit their 5 mile mark.
Students will earn a lanyard and charm for each mega-milestone they meet. Charms and certificates are given out on Friday! Can't wait to see what goals are met this week!
Order forms for WTC Volleyball went home several weeks ago. If you still want to order they are due tomorrow. Checks may be made out to MPS or exact cash is accepted.

On Wednesday, September 7, we will be having our first Den Day activities! Please wear your Den Shirts or Colors to show your PRIDE. If your Den shirt is missing or doesn't fit anymore, a chance to get a new one will be coming up!
If you don't have a Den yet...do not worry! You will be sorted soon!
We can't wait to welcome you into your new family! Just bring yourself and your best smile to school.

The elementary will be hosting a Legacy Lunch next week in conjunction with Grandparents Day. Students may invite someone to eat lunch with them on Friday, September 9. The cafeteria will be serving spaghetti that day.
A blue note went home with students today. Please fill it out and return it to school by Wednesday, September 7, so we can plan accordingly.
Guests are asked to check in at the office when they arrive. They may pay for their lunches in the cafeteria after they get their food. Adult lunches are $4.25.
