September 2022 Breakfast/Lunch Menu
Each morning our Lions get a chance to start off the day with a run. They are aiming to have run a full marathon (26.2 miles) by October. We've already had some kiddos hit their 5 mile mark.
Students will earn a lanyard and charm for each mega-milestone they meet. Charms and certificates are given out on Friday! Can't wait to see what goals are met this week!
Order forms for WTC Volleyball went home several weeks ago. If you still want to order they are due tomorrow. Checks may be made out to MPS or exact cash is accepted.

On Wednesday, September 7, we will be having our first Den Day activities! Please wear your Den Shirts or Colors to show your PRIDE. If your Den shirt is missing or doesn't fit anymore, a chance to get a new one will be coming up!
If you don't have a Den yet...do not worry! You will be sorted soon!
We can't wait to welcome you into your new family! Just bring yourself and your best smile to school.

The elementary will be hosting a Legacy Lunch next week in conjunction with Grandparents Day. Students may invite someone to eat lunch with them on Friday, September 9. The cafeteria will be serving spaghetti that day.
A blue note went home with students today. Please fill it out and return it to school by Wednesday, September 7, so we can plan accordingly.
Guests are asked to check in at the office when they arrive. They may pay for their lunches in the cafeteria after they get their food. Adult lunches are $4.25.
Our lunch schedule is:
K-1 11:00-11:30
2-3 11:30-12:00
4-6 12:00-12:30

Tomorrow we are having a We Are Family Friday celebration during our morning meeting. Please wear some Morrill gear or blue & yellow!
If you don't have a Morrill shirt, there will be plenty of chances to purchase one this year. Can't wait to see everyone show their Lion Pride!
Don't forget, tomorrow is an early dismissal at 1:50. Buses run accordingly!

**Lunch: Chicken Strips / Fruit / Vegetable / Milk

Morrill Lions Jr. Football -- August 25, 2022
Tonight there is Morrill Lion Jr. Football Practice at the old football field at 5:30 pm. We will only need the participants to bring and practice in a t-shirt, pair of shorts, cleats, and their helmet. They will NOT need to bring their pads tonight to practice. Thanks everyone!

This year we are seeing if our Lions can RUN A MARATHON.
Every morning, starting at 7:40, students have the chance to run a few laps of our course to earn miles. The miles will be tracked and our goal is 26.2 miles by October. Meet at the flagpole to start your journey.
We can't wait to see our Lions Run!
