Thank you to the Morrill & Lyman-Kiowa Volunteer Fire Departments for teaching our lions about fire safety!

Fire Safety Day

It's time for We Are Family Friday!
Runners...don't forget your lanyards!

It's Den Day tomorrow!
In the afternoon we'll have a special time to hang out with our Den family. Wear your Den shirts or Den colors if you can. We can't wait to see our new Kindergarten friends and our new staff & students in their Den!

Tomorrow (10/12/22) is Walk to School Day!
Students who ride the bus will be dropped off at the Old Football Field or Morrill Park. We will then walk in teacher escorted groups to the elementary school. If your child rides to school in a car or walks to school, you are more than welcome to meet us at one of the locations and join a walking group. All students will go to the cafeteria when they get to the elementary school. Breakfast (biscuits and gravy) will be served to those that would like to eat. Once we have all of our students, we'll dismiss to classrooms.

Have you joined your student's class on Bloomz?
It's the best way to keep up-to-date about what's happening in your child's class! We also use Bloomz to create sign-ups for conferences and parties!
Call the office for more information!

ATTENTION: 2022 MPS Immunization Clinic
In preparation for the upcoming Influenza Season, we will be offering Influenza Vaccines for anyone ages 5 or older. This clinic is being provided by Regional West Medical Center Community Health Immunization Clinic for any family, student, teacher, or community member.

Join us in Walk To School Day!
Starting at 7:30 am our staff will be at the Morrill Park and the Old Football Field to escort students to school.
Buses will drop off students so everyone can participate.
Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria when we arrive at school. Biscuits and gravy will be served. Regular breakfast charges apply.

October 2022 Breakfast/Lunch Menu

Lion Families,
We have an abundance of clothing in our elementary clothing closet including coats, hoodie sweaters, t-shirts, pants, shorts, socks, undies, and shoes in a variety of sizes. All items are either brand new or freshly laundered. If you have any need for these items, please call Mrs. Armstrong (247-2176 or lauren.armstrong@mpslions.org) and let her know the sizes you are interested in and she will put together a bag for you. She will even schedule a time for your child to come shop the closet if you approve it. We also have some hygiene items available. If there is something you need that we don’t have, we will make every effort to get it. We all need a little help now and then; please don’t be afraid to reach out.
With love,
Morrill Elementary School
