It was Pizza Day yesterday! The preschoolers and the toddlers got to go to the cafeteria and make their very own pizza for lunch. They had a blast. We definitely have some chef's in the building!

More Christmas Party fun!

Our toddler rooms had so much fun at their Christmas parties yesterday!

Don't forget to send your kids in Christmas pajamas tomorrow!

Miss Kelsey's class just wrapped up their pet unit! They talked all about pets and how to take care of them in their classroom. Students were allowed to bring in their own pets from home as a show and tell. At the end of the unit, Dr. Skavdahl, a veterinarian, came and spoke to the class. He brought a stuffed puppy for the kids to examine. He let them all hear a heartbeat with his stethoscope. Dr. Skavdahl also let each child use a syringe to give the puppy medicine. It was a great experience for all the students!
Did you know, Miss Kelsey has class pets? They have two guinea pigs: Little Guinea and Peanut Butter!

Our toddlers are having lots of fun this holiday season! They have a felt tree in their classroom that they get to decorate. They have also been playing with gingerbread playdough and painting. Our whole building even received a very special visit from Santa on Friday!

Each one of our preschoolers received a very special present from Toys for Tots! They were sent home in your child's backpacks today. A huge thank you to Morrill Police Department and Dollar General!

Miss Kelsey's class earned a doughnut party this past Friday. The whole class is practicing being safe, respectful and responsible. When they exhibit any of these wonderful behaviors, they get a puff ball in the jar. When the jar is full, the class is rewarded with a fun activity or yummy treat!

Miss Sorcha's class has been learning all about Gingerbread Men. The class made gingerbread playdough and used cookie cutters to cut out the men. The students also got to decorate their own paper gingerbread man. Today, they received an extra special surprise: A Gingerbread Man Scavenger Hunt! They had to hunt around the building to find the clues. The last clue lead them to a sweet treat they got to enjoy!
