Morrill Schools District COVID situation continues to be stable. However the region had an upsurge in cases and hospitalizations over the past week. The Morrill district risk factor is a 2.3 out of 4 on the risk dial. Only three districts in the panhandle are lower than we are on the risk dial: Big Springs 1.8, Hemingford and Harrison are both at 2.0.
We need to keep vigilant with our mask wearing and social distancing as in order to keep kids in school.
Many are growing weary of the mask wearing; I understand, it is fatiguing to wear a mask all day at school or the entire time we are at games or wrestling meets.
Please remember the reason we are doing this as a school is so that all kids can remain in school (and activities), every day, all year.

10:00 late start tomorrow, 2-8-2021 for all students infant - 12th grades,
due to very cold temperatures and blowing snow tonight.
Buses run accordingly - No Breakfast tomorrow.

Miss Kelsey and Miss Kyla's class are becoming yoga experts! They are learning all sorts of new poses. The class does yoga every week to teach kids about the importance of stretching and exercising! The teachers also use this time to teach their students positional words (behind, in front of, beside, etc.). What a fun classroom experience!

Valentine's Day is near! We had so much fun putting on a virtual Christmas concert, we decided to do one for Valentine's Day too! Check out the picture below for more information. Let us know if you have any questions.
