NOTICE OF VOTE TO INCREASE BASE GROWTH PERCENTAGE USED TO DETERMINE PROPERTY TAX REQUEST AUTHORITY
The Morrill Public Schools Board of Education will meet on Monday July 17, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at 508 Jefferson Avenue, Morrill Nebraska, 69358 for a board meeting. Among other topics to be discussed, pursuant to NEB. REV. STAT. § 79-3405, the Board will vote on whether to increase the school district’s base growth percentage by up to seven percent (7%). A copy of the agenda, kept continuously current, is available for public inspection in the superintendent’s office during normal business hours.

Morrill Public Schools will be closed today due to icy roads and road closures that will keep staff from being able to arrive safely. Buses will not run, No Preschool or K-12 classes.

Due to forecast weather Morrill Public Schools will be closed for all Students PK-12 on Wednesday 2/22/2023. Buses will not run. 7-12 Students will be remote learning, check in with your teachers for attendance.

Our Lion community is invited to a Chili Feed Fundraiser for Brayden Branham. The dinner will be on Saturday, February 25 from 5-8 pm at the Morrill American Legion.
This event is sponsored by many kind and generous people from our community. We are so grateful to have support for Brayden & his family.
At the dinner there will be chili & cinnamon rolls. This is a freewill donation for the meal.
There will also be a silent auction, a live auction, and a 50/50 raffle!
