Unfortunately, Mike Trader had to cancel his camp in Morrill this year due to lack of sign-ups. We are hopeful to host the camp next year.
Morrill Lady Lion Basketball- Lady Lions are 5-0 at Gold Crown! After a VERY sluggish start this morning in the first two games the Lions executed like a seasoned team against a good Kansas team. These girls are really embracing this new style.
Andon Pittman & Gavin Dunkel will represent the Morrill Lions on the West Football team in the 2022 All-Star Game. Congratulations & come support them Saturday, June 11!

Morrill Lions Football- And that’s it for this year’s UNK Football team camp! After a few injuries, we played most of the live football with just eight players. These young men rose to the challenge, played Ironman football without complaining, and gained some valuable experience. They are coming together as a team and it’s awesome to see! #ALLIN #LionPride

Last week Miss Sorcha's students participated in a punch and paint activity for their family engagement! The class had a special visitor lead the painting class. After completing their painting the students got to sip yummy punch and enjoy the company of family and friends.
Remember to celebrate your educator's all week long this week!
This spring Miss Kelsey's class hatched chicks! The students had so much fun checking on them everyday. It was a wonderful learning experience for them!

Miss Sorcha's class had a special visit last week from students going through dental hygienist school. Our students were given an Oreo to eat. Afterwards, they were to look in the mirror and see how dirty their teeth were. Then, the students ate a carrot and looked in the mirror to see how clean their teeth were. They got to learn all about healthy eating and the effects on your teeth. After eating an Oreo and carrot all the kids brushed their teeth.
The dental hygienist students were so kind to come and teach our kids about healthy dental habits. They also gifted each student with a dental goody bag!
Miss Kelsey's class celebrated Earth Day last week by going on a walk and picking up any trash they spotted. They also made yummy dirt cups!
The dirt cups are made out of chocolate pudding and gummy worms.
