The Morrill Public Schools Board of Education has approved a move to a four-day school week beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. This is a significant and exciting change for our students, families, and staff! Here are some changes that we would like families to be aware of.
School days will run from Monday through Thursday. In the event that we do not have school on Monday due to a holiday, our four-day week will shift to Tuesday through Friday. Friday sessions for the coming school year are reflected below:
August 14, 2026 (Students Dismiss @ 1:50 pm ONLY on August 14)
September 11, 2026
January 8, 2027
February 19, 2027
April 2, 2027
The daily school schedules are as follows:
Preschool (Half-Day): 8:00 am - 11:30 pm
Preschool (Full-Day): 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
Elementary School: 8:00 am - 3:40 pm
Junior High/High School: 7:45 am - 3:50 pm
