5th period debate

To wrap up our college unit in Personal Finance, [Juniors and Senior] students engaged in a formal debate on a topic related to college. Period 6 chose to debate about college athlete pay and period 5 chose to debate about abolishing the ACT and other high stakes testing. Each student played an important role in the debates (such as a cross-examiner, rebuttal team, judge panel, etc.)  and did a great job of maintaining a calm, respectful atmosphere.
