Morrill Elementary employs 20 certified staff and 15 support staff members.  We currently have 174 students with an average class size of 12.5 students.

We are a GOOD school according the AQuESTT rating system, but we have our eyes set on becoming a GREAT school.  We are currently accredited by NDE Frameworks but are onboarding now with COGNIA (AdvancEd), with our accreditation visit scheduled in the Spring of 2022.

Most of our 1st – 12th grade teachers have had two days of onsite training at the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.  We are committed to allocating resources to make classrooms and instructional practices exciting, and engaging; students should come to school every day with a sense of wonder!

We are currently 1:1 in 2nd – 12th grades; we replaced every classroom’s old Promethean Boards with state of the art TIERNEY boards in the summer of 2020. Our district wants to lead the region in effective instructional practices that incorporate the use of technology in presentations, learning demonstrations and research.

Our school board and district administration is committed to hiring a principal who can move us forward in the integration of technology, in student engagement, in effective student behavior management, and enhancing our building culture, climate and morale.

Regionally competitive salary based on previous experience and personal qualities. The principal contract includes 220 days, beginning July 1, 2021
