Technology Initiative

Cary Laucomer, Technology Integration Director
I am a teacher turned technology integrationist with a passion for 21st century learning. I taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade in Scottsbluff, Nebraska for 13 years before transferring to Morrill to pursue my passion with technology integration. As a teacher I aimed to bring real-world learning experiences to my students. I am blessed to be surrounded by an administrative team and school board that has a mission to be the most progressive district in the panhandle. I also have a passion for teaching to a diverse group of learners in a way that challenges them all while allowing them to excel at their talents. I was also the high-ability learner (HAL) building coordinator for 9 years. I am privileged to continue to nurture that passion, as well, as the HAL coordinator here.  I received my teaching degree from the University of Wyoming and my master's degree in instructional technology, also from the University of Wyoming.

I am married to Chris Laucomer, a fourth-generation rancher from Sioux County. We have three children that keep us very busy with a wide range of interests and extracurricular activities. I love the small-school atmosphere and tight-knit community that Morrill encompasses. I hope I get to work here for many years to come.
