Digital Citizenship Education
It is important to Morrill Public Schools to educate students to be critical thinkers who participate safely and ethically online. Students in grades 3-6 receive Digital Citizenship education during computer class through lessons from Common Sense Education, the leading independent nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing kids for the digital world they live in. Students in 7th and 8th grade are also educated in internet safety topics using curriculum from the same platform.

Common Sense Media offers the latest research, tips, and tools on how to keep kids safe online with advice on privacy settings, how to use parental controls, smart usernames, and appropriate sharing.
